Good God / bad god

In this article, we will attempt to discern and therefore isolate the difference between the two most powerful influences in this world since the fall of Paradise. One is the true authority that is trying to show us the way back to Heaven, and the other is trying to manipulate our lives with sin so that we will remain as far away from our Creator as possible. Hidden within Genesis’ chapter four is the image of the true God and that of a criminal influencer (Satan, Lucifer) hiding within the shadow of the written word. A criminal who often uses the same titles that belong to God to trick us into following him and therefore maintaining power and control over us.

The reason for this devious behavior is that Satan has been (and still is) continually interfering with the Divine Law, which demands that we be born a child of God, to push us farther away from our Creator. Satan’s reason for launching this battle for domination and control over us is due basically to the fact that he hates God and wishes to injure or insult Him with every fiber of his being.  He does this by hurting us, whom the Lord created to enjoy His endless bounty, by preventing us from successfully achieving the original goal. This persistent, unremitting hatred is due to his failed attempt to dethrone the Creator and replace Him as God in Heaven, for which Lucifer’s punishment was to lose his position as the highest placed archangel and his eventual expulsion from Heaven.

The subjugation of this planet by Lucifer/Satan began with the betrayal of Adam, God’s spokesperson (the appointed spiritual teacher by Jehovah on Earth), and the adulterous behaviour of his wife Eve with a serpent/priest.  For until that moment of betrayal, the people of this planet were under the Lord’s protection and enjoyed His immense bounty. Unfortunately, with Eve allowing herself to be seduced into adopting and espousing this serpent/priest’s teaching, a seduction that was both spiritual and physical, and which eventually produced her firstborn, Cain, a murderer. Since she preferred the attention of another man who was not her husband, this treacherous and illicit affair allowed her, under the serpent/priest’s teachings, to influence her weak and pathetic husband into switching over to the Devil’s side. This once entitled spiritual teacher of God (Adam) allowed himself to be persuaded to change over to the side of evil indicated by his acceptance and ingestion of the serpent/priest’s fruit,[i] and therefore, with this treacherous action, abandoned his holy duties. From this moment onwards, the spreading of this evil spiritual ministry throughout the world continued throughout our history through the religious indoctrination by priests of all beliefs.

From the outset, it is important to realize that the changes in people’s conduct and the loss of divine spiritual knowledge did not happen overnight but over the centuries. We can ascertain this by the fact that the people of this age were long living, with Adam living to the ripe old age of 930, his son Seth until the age of 912,[ii] and Methuselah dying at the age of 959.[iii] Hence, Adam and his cohorts had centuries to influence humanity with the serpent’s teaching.  Here is an obvious telltale sign that we are living under an evil reign, for man’s lifespan has today shortened to almost nothing, with humans rarely achieving 100 years.  This can only be due to the lifestyle that we live, which is very far from divine.

Now, the first sign of this new demonic rule is that Adam’s two sons had to earn their livelihood, one tending his flocks and one tilling the earth. They were now working by the sweat of their brow as specified in the Lord’s curse after the Fall of Eden.[iv] The second sign of this new takeover was that both were sacrificing offerings from their labours to someone using the title of ‘Lord’, according to this Biblical chapter. It is here that we find a hidden sign of the new spiritual influence. Let us remember that before the Fall, there had never been a Commandment that stated or referred to the duty or obligation of providing offerings or sacrifices of any kind. Therefore, this practice could only have originated under the influence of the usurper and not the true God.  It was only after Adam’s betrayal and banishment from Eden that such practices by his sons are mentioned in the Bible. Besides, since Adam was now an adherent of the serpent’s teachings, authenticated by the act of eating the forbidden fruit, it would only be natural that his sons would continue to follow and practice this new spiritual teaching that their father now supported. For if Adam was still God’s true servant, he would not have been banished like Lucifer from Heaven.

Therefore, the demand for offerings did not come from God, for it is written that He has an abhorrence for any kind of bloody sacrifices. Proof of this can be found in Jeremiah 6:20, where it is written, “Your burnt offerings are not acceptable, your sacrifices do not please me.”

In Isaiah chapter 1:11-13, it is written:

“The multitude of your sacrifices, what are they to me?” says the Lord. “I have more than enough of burnt offerings, of rams and the fat of fattened animals; I have no pleasure in the blood of bulls and lambs and goats. When you come to appear before me, who asked this of you, this trampling of my courts (of His Laws, of His rules)Stop bringing meaningless offerings!  Your incense (used in religious ceremonies) is detestable to me.

These are the words of the true God, a God of love and creation. The real God who wants nothing to do with bloody sacrifices and death. These warnings against sacrifices come from two important prophets telling the world that the directives for the establishment of this practice did not come from God.  If the true God does not want bloody sacrifices, human or animal, which we have continually practiced throughout our world history, then its establishment must come from Satan.

Therefore, both Cain and Abel’s sacrifices were an abomination to the true God. This act was a demand from the false ruler and which has always been sustained by his earthly priests, for it demonstrated his control over humanity.  All these religious sacrifices were supported and conducted by the leagues of priests, who faithfully turned a blind eye to God’s law and even encouraged these acts of useless slaughter.  Our history is full of these moments, from the Aztecs to the worshippers of Moloch brought into Solomon’s kingdom by one of his foreign concubines or by the multitudes of chaplains who would follow soldiers onto the killing field of wars, where the sacrifices (or murder) of human beings have always been overwhelming.  What we must come to understand is that the only types of sacrifices that the true God wants are the personal ones. The ones that stop us from personally sinning, such as hating, envying, stealing, hurting, lying, killing, etc., for these transgressions keep us away from the true God.

Let us now study the situation that brought one of the brothers to commit the ultimate crime, that of murder, which is a supreme violation of the law of the Creator, whose greatest command is to produce life.[v] The path that led to this murderous action begins with their participation in the act of sacrificing offerings, the first signs of the influencing power of the evil one. Now, the question that should be asked is, why did Satan like Abel’s offering over that of Cain’s? The answer was because it was bloodier and designed to hurt living things i.e., the animals of his flocks.

One must understand that Cain’s vegetables had no sensations when burnt on the altar, for they were not alive with emotions, while Abel’s animals were. They could feel fear, agony, suffering, and pain. That is why Abel’s offering pleased that evil spirit more, because of the negative energy that derived from it in the form of pain and fear, which is the purpose for Satan’s existence on this planet. The fact that Cain’s offerings had no feelings, did not incur suffering, anguish, distress, torment, and agony, the Bible writes “the (false) Lord looked with favor on Abel and his offerings”.[vi]  It is here that we perceive Satan usurping and hiding behind one of the titles of God, for as mentioned earlier, the true Lord had never instituted this atrocious ritual on His creation.

We now have a prime example of Satan pretending to be God. Consequently, with this evil influence hovering around, Cain reacted exactly how Satan wanted him to when he realized that his offerings did not make him the favorite son. One can read that “He (Cain) became very angry and his face was downcast,”[vii] indicating that he was dejected, unhappy, low in spirit, exactly how Satan prefers everyone to be, because it's easier to influence a soul that is feeling low.

At this point, the true God steps in.  He tries to make Cain understand that he is walking into danger due to these angry feelings. He warns him that:

“Sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you.”[viii]

Since the true God does not care about sacrifices, He tells Cain not to be angry or downcast. He says as long as Cain does the right thing, ‘he will be accepted. Accepted where? On the path back to Paradise. Here, the true God also warns him that if he does not do what is right, the consequences would be dangerous, that Evil wants him.[ix] That he, Cain, must master his evil feelings (or thoughts) that were swirling throughout him. Even though Cain was born on the wrong side of the blanket, as the old saying goes, the true God is still worried about him, enough to warn him of the great danger looming near him.  Meaning that the threat and exposure from the evil influence of the Devil were close at hand and ready to grab hold of Cain. Remember, Cain had not committed murder yet, but he was sacrificing and therefore being influenced by the false god. This warning goes for everyone on this planet, like the person who is tempted to steal for whatever reason; the sin, the temptation to do so, is always crouching near him. If someone insults you or offends you, the demon of anger is always ready to come to your aid.  This is the significance of this section of the Biblical verse.

Unfortunately, the ego of this bastard son of the serpent/priest could not take the rejection of his true spiritual father, Lucifer. That he, Satan, preferred Abel’s bloody sacrifices over his own was unacceptable. So he brought Abel into his field, attacked and killed him, therefore committing the most hellish of atrocities, that of the murder of a human being. Cain also continues to demonstrate his evil nature when he lied to the true God, saying he did not know where his brother was. Proving here that he was truly the son of the Devil, for did Jesus not say that Satan was a liar and a murderer? We understand at this point how much control Satan had over the world, for here Cain demonstrates that he did not want to repent his crime even when he is told that his punishment was to be a wanderer for the rest of his life.[x]  Being a wanderer meant he would never return to the path that would have remitted his spirit to God. Cain understood that the sin he had committed was evil and knew that he would be banished from God’s presence. Still, he refused to repent of his atrocious actions, demonstrating that he was definitely under Satan’s control.

It is at this point that we see God’s immense love for his creation, even with the aberration of this human model. When Cain remarks that his greatest fear would be that someone would find him and kill him, God marks him so that no one would try to slay him.[xi]  This mark of the good Lord was simply that Cain was allowed to keep his human form of a man and not degenerate into some beastly form since his thinking and actions were brutish. It was also a warning that anyone who kills another human being would be judged and punished seven times over. For only the true Creator can judge His creation’s actions, no one else. This reminds me of the words of Christ when asked how many times, should one forgive someone who had sin against him, to which he replied up to seventy-seven times.[xii]  If Cain had truly repented for his actions, he might have been pardoned.  Unfortunately, being born under the Devils influence, he preferred to wander away from the Divine Lord.

It is here, within this story that happened after the Fall of Eden, that we differentiate the two powers reigning over this planet. When reading the Old Testament, one can easily tell which entity using the title of God is good and which one is evil.  If the subject matter is about death, wars, sacrifices, stealing, wanton actions, etc., then the spiritual power behind the action is demonic.  When it is about curing, helping, saving, or warning of actions or thoughts that could harm someone, then it’s usually the true God. Finally, one must understand that the real and only true God in heaven is all about LOVE.
